WAEC RESULT IS OUT
Charles Eguridu, Head, WAEC National Office announced on Wednesday in a press conference at the WAEC office in Yaba that the results of the 2013 May/June West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) has been released.
According to him, only 53.23(fifty three) per cent obtained six credits and above.
He said that out of the total number of candidates that sat for the examination, 1,543,683 candidates, representing 91.38 per cent have their results fully released, while 145,505 candidates representing 8.62 per cent have a few of their subjects still being processed due to errors traceable to the candidates and schools in the course of registration.
He also noted that 6.75 per cent of the results were withheld in connection with various cases of examination malpractices, stressing that the cases were being investigated and reports of the investigations would be presented to the Nigerian Examination Council (NEC) of the council for consideration.

Using Scratch card 

Step 1a: Purchase the Waec Scratch card and then Goto Waec Result checking website at http://www.waecdirect.org
Step 1b: When the webpage loads up, Enter your 10- digit WAEC 2013 Examination Number. (your 7- Digit centre number followed by your 3-digit candidate seat number eg. 4123456789).
Step 2: Select your Examination year (i.e. 2013) if you are not checking for waec 2013, you can select other years.
Step 3: Select the type of examination you.(i.e.May/June.)
Step 4: Then Enter the Card Serial Number found on the reverse side of your Scratch card.
Step 5: Enter the Personal Identification Number (PIN) on your the purchased Scratch card
Step 6: Confirm the details entered and then Click on the “Submit” button, a new window will pop up,  please wait and your WAEC (May/June) 2013 Results will be displayed on it.

To check your WAEC Result With A Mobile Phone 

You can check your WAEC result via SMS.
To check your WAEC May/June 2013 with a mobile phone, purchase the WAEC scratch card,

And then send a short code in this format: WAEC*ExamNo*PIN*ExamYear to 32327. (example, if your WAEC Examination number is 42955678, your PIN is 123456, and you sat for WAEC in 2013, then you will send WAEC *42955678*123456*2013 to 32327.

You can send your WAEC result to your email address from the WAEC result checker website
To send your WAEC result to your email, select the Send results to Email option on WAEC result checker, after you have logged in and Enter your email address and click on the “submit” button. A copy of your WAEC result will be sent to your email address.
